Testimonials

Each and every one of my pupils is important to me and I pride myself on being able to understand their learning and musical needs as individuals - children work at a different pace to one another, with different levels of commitment and varying levels of ability. Every one is a young musician in my eyes and deserves the best possible musical experience in their lessons.

"I really like learning the clarinet with Sally. We work hard, but Sally makes the lessons fun and enjoyable, and I practice a lot because I want to do well. My favourite part of the lesson is when we play duets together". Evie, Grade 5 Clarinet pass with distinction

"Thankyou ,bless sounds like you know my son very well ! Thankyou for your feedback really appreciate it and fab to know he’s obviously got a great teacher in you"

"During the lockdown it seemed to be the clarinet that helped her out and she practiced it a lot. We are very grateful for the lessons that you gave her, they really were a life line in keeping an interest going for her when she no longer felt like doing any school work"

"He loves his lessons with you, and, you have an amazing approach as I can tell from what he says!  He’s often given up other subjects or clubs we tried, but this he loves so much!"

"I started to learn clarinet in year 3 and met Sally when I joined `West Sussex Youth Band in year 5. During year 7, she became my clarinet teacher, and has tutored me all the way through to grade 8, in 2021. Sally has always pushed me beyond my comfort zone, encouraging me to stretch myself further. With her attention to detail, and by honing my technique, I have managed to pass each exam with a merit, whilst enjoying the challenges she has set me" Eleanor, Grade 8 pass with distinction

"I know that *****  agrees with me when I say that she has been very lucky and very privileged to have you as her teacher. I have enjoyed every concert, watching the children grow in skill and confidence each time".
